On the 19th October myself and my little bestie made our way into Birmingham City Centre, for a day of food, and Disney fun! When I was younger I remember going to see High School Musical On Ice and oh how it’s stuck with me all these years for being one of the best nights of my life. I remember leaving school and going to my friends house, we had a McDonalds before heading to the venue to see the show. Ever since that show I’ve always wanted to go along to see the Disney on ice shows that are often on most years. This year marked a 100 years of magic. So being such a special celebration and knowing you’d be able to see all the acts it couldn’t of been a better year to go!

So Myself and Maisie popped on the train and made our way into Birmingham! We then made the short 10 minute walk along the canals and through the mail box to the venue of Arena Birmingham. While the surrounding area was busy as it was a Saturday we were able to get to the box office with no hassle and pick up our tickets. I’ve always worried about taking Maisie into the city centre due to it being so busy but I felt at ease by the security and staff at the venue which were on hand when I literally needed a extra hand balancing a toddler and full hands.
After picking up our tickets we then made our way around to the entrance, where there was a huge queue. Luckily this went down quickly and we were soon inside before we knew it. The staff worked well to get the queue down and us all inside before we knew it. However It was very cramped when inside in the main area outside of the seating.

We had some time to kill before we made our way to our seats to watch the show, so we went and grabbed some food. We came across a burger stall which sold a range of different burgers and loaded fries. I went for a classic burger and loaded cheese fries, which were so yum! We also got a few bags of sweet treats to enjoy along with the show. The staff were super helpful to pack it all nicely in a bag to allow me to carry it all to our seats.

We then left the main food/gift area and made our way to find our seats, as soon as we entered our block a member of staff was there to direct us to our seat. It was super easy to find our seats as all of the navigation was really Clear. Our seats were perfect and great for Maisie! With her only being 3 I was afraid she may be too short and have to sit on my lap the whole time, luckily she was in the corner break and had no one in her view. We were also only 3 rows back which meant we had the best up from view of all the characters!

Overall the whole day was actually so magical, I got to spend some quality time with my niece, and also enjoy some Disney classics from my childhood. The whole venue was lit up with magic as everyone was singing along and getting involved in the show. Thank you to Arena Birmingham for gifting me the tickets to go to Disney On ice.
