So last weekend I made my way down to London! It’s been a while since I’ve been down to the big smoke, but boy was it well over due. I was heading down to attend the British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park! We’d booked these tickets so far in advance as we wanted to have a summer of memories! This year is flying by so fast and we couldn’t believe we was heading to the festival the following week. we of course left it very last minute to book a hotel for the festival. But we was in luck as the guys at Roomzzz were amazing and were able to sort us out a two night stay in there Stratford Aparthotel.

So a little more about Roomzzz….
“We’re an aparthotel that combines the style of a classy hotel with the convenience of a serviced apartment. You might have seen us around. Your average, generic hotel room can feel a million miles from home. But we want you to feel as relaxed as you would in your own house, so all our studios and suites come with plenty of room and all the comfort and mod-cons you’d expect in a modern city apartment. ALL THE STUFF YOU ACTUALLY WANT, NONE OF THE STUFF YOU DON’T The trouser press, the pillow chocolates, the mini-bar, the little packet of biscuits…they’ve all gone. In their place we’ve put a spacious living area, a fully-fitted kitchen, a HD TV or two, a dining table and 2,000 spring mattresses. You get the idea. Our beautiful spacious apartments give you the room to stretch out, just like you would at home. Do a spot of yoga, work out, unwind by cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or just crash on the sofa. Whatever you do, enjoy the freedom. Basically, with Roomzzz it’s like having your own stylish apartment in the heart of the city. But with someone else to tidy up and bring you fluffy towels. Now that’s living! “

Now if that hasn’t sold Roomzzz to you, carry on reading this review because I’m about to blow you away with my stay at Roomzzz. So I arrived at Roomzzz Stratford around 7:40pm on the Friday night, I’d been at an event in the day, then went and met up with a London blogger to shoot! so I was knackered! All I wanted to do was get to the hotel and hope I had a comfy bed for the night! The Aparthotel was around a 10 minute walk (if you’re a little slow like me) from the Stratford Tube station. So not too far out of the way! Of course if you aren’t familiar with Stratford well it is the home of the Westfield. Here you can find all your favourite shops, oh and even a MISSGUIDED store! *squeals* For me the location was perfect, it wasn’t too far from the centre and only took us around 30-40 minutes to get to Hyde Park which was our main location of the weekend. We had easy access to plenty of food places, and it was slightly less busy and manic than the centre of London. Which was perfect, while I love London, and the city vibe it was nice to head back to the hotel and it be a bit more chilled and less people.

TA-DA! The room! I’d never stayed in an Aparthotel before, so I was super excited to see what the room would look like, but also what benefits it would provide for my stay. But also to see if it was any better or more of a benefit to stay in a Aparthotel than an actual hotel. Well…for me I found the benefit of having the kitchen and more of a ‘home away from home’ vibe more of a benefit. I love having my morning coffee in the morning, and of course late night snacks. Knowing that I had the facilities of a kitchen in my room made all the difference, and actually gave me a new light of freedom from my stay. I always like to buy bottles of water when I’m away so having a fridge also was a huge bonus, as most hotels don’t actually provide a fridge. The Room we were provided with was an Neo Studio. Below you can see all the details of staying in a Neo Studio.

The Neo Studio was perfect for our weekend trip away, If we was to stay longer I definitely think we would of had to go for a bigger room. Click here to see the other size rooms that Roomzzz offer. But for the two of us and for the fact we was going to be out of hotel most of the time while down in London, it served it’s perfect and so much more.

The one thing that really stood out for me at Roomzzz, had to be the amazing city view I had of London from my room. Oh boy waking up to that for two morning was a dream. It got even better at night! The pictures really don’t do it any justice! feel free to go and check out my insta stories from my stay! On the Friday night, it was so nice to sit back and relax in bed watching love island, eating my maccies and watching the sunset in front of me!

Waking up it was time for breakfast! Another perk of staying at Roomzzz was that they offer a “grab and go” complimentary breakfast from the lobby of the hotel. Also in the lobby of the hotel they have a deli in which you can buy meals, and drinks. Along side this if you’re a fitness freak. You can find yourself going to the gym whenever you please. For me though I was all about getting up for that breakfast. The “grab and go” breakfast starts from 6.30am till 10.30am which includes hot drinks, fruit juice, a variety of yoghurts, freshly baked pastries, and a selection of fruits. I mean who doesn’t love coffee and pastries in the morning? I was in heaven. As well as the grab and go service, you could also enjoy free water, and coffee free all day long from the lobby. (I love my coffee so I went down a number of times.)

So Friday night I was able to enjoy a well deserved rest, and woke up to a full tummy, and ready to head to the festival! Having the luxury *yes luxury* of going back to a beautiful modern and clean hotel, that made me fully feel at home and relaxed made all the difference for our stay and for while we were attending the festival in Hyde Park. When traveling around London, on the tubes, or just in general walking the streets when its muggy and hot we needed to go back and freshen up. The roomzzz choice of shower gel, and shampoo was “The White company” which again was such a perfect addition to make our stay even better. Now a little more small details, that actually made a huge difference to our stay – heated flooring in the bathroom. HELL YES. It wasn’t until later on we realised this, but oh boy I have cold feet all the time, and having the treat of going for a wee and having your feet kept toasty was a luxury. Mood lighting – this helped me so much to feel relaxed and slowly doze off to sleep, it really did set a mood for me. A few giggles – something I loved about the deco and the whole “vibe” of Roomzzz was the giggles you could spot around the hotel, from the art work in the corridors, to the hang tags telling you not to disturb.

Over all I found my stay at Roomzzz, peaceful, relaxed and an absolute treat! Roomzzz Stratford really was home away from home. The whole vibe of the hotel was super modern and cool, the perfect location for a city getaway. The hotel staff were super friendly, made me feel super welcome and were on hand for all my questions and needs. The location is perfect for anyone visiting London, may it be business or leisure I’m sure it will meet all your needs! A big thank you to Roomzzz for offering me a complimentary stay and for saving the day my giving us the accommodation for the weekend! My stay couldn’t of been any better.

Beautiful room, and I checked the prices and they are quite reasonable too considering all the space you get. I live in London so I don’t need to book accommodation here, but I’d recommend Roomzzz to people looking for affordable accommodation, and those views are just lovely!
