Last Friday was Black Friday! While Black Friday isn’t much of a thing in this country, myself and Sara popped over to selfridges after getting a 10% off beauty voucher from Selfridges! I thought I’d use this time to take advantage and finally purchase my first ever high end foundation. Guy’s this shocked me too. I’m so tight on my money as I don’t like to spend more when I know I can get the same quality from a drug store brand. However being so pale. I’ve hated recently being so orange or just not matching! So I thought I best put the effort in and well spend some dolla and get myself a high end foundation.
At first I used it very sparely of course after forking out £33 I wasn’t gonna be throwing this bad on like tooth paste. I found the over-all thickness very thin, it appeared very watery when Placing it on my face. The make up artist did recommend I apply with a sponge. Which I still need to buy! As it’s a moisture foundation it’s meant to sink into your skin, not be brushed over. I’ve been using the Real Technique Expert Face Brush, to apply, However I’ve then been patting down all over with the brush which gives me the perfect sink-ed in natural look I wanted for £33. I wouldn’t face the shade is spot on, (damn you selfridges lighting tricking me) but it is a lot better than my usually orange and white neck look I’ve been sporting the past few years.
I'm so proud of you.
I'm pale and I have her tinted moisturiser and love it! I think laura mercier foundations and bases tend to be worth the money 🙂 hope you keep enjoying it!!xx
