Well I haven’t done a cheeky old nail art in a while have I. sadly this is because of my nail course i’m doing every Wednesday evening. and we cant have anything on our nails. I’m missing my fakey’s so much. But I’m starting to paint my natural nail in-between. I cannot believe how much my nails have grown since my weekly treatments. It’s definitely opened me up to realized you do need to go for regular treatments to keep your nails maintained.
So It’s October. how this year has just done a runner. I cannot believe how fast it’s gone. But hey not long un-till halloweeeeeeen. If I’m honest I’m not a halo-ween person I’ve kinda got the part of going out trick or treating. I like the good old chill and watch a horror movie night in. However I got asked to do a cheeky Halloween nail art tutorial.
STEP ONE The first thing you want to do is apply a base coat! This is very essential when it comes to painting your nails any colour! I’ve been using ESSIE ‘Shine it!’ for this It just a great polish for a beauty shiny look. However f your using fake nails don’t worry about the base coat!
STEP TWO Now you then need to decide your colour’s I recently brought this purple which I love so i had to use this again. And of course the white is best to show the spider web. However this is optional.
STEP THREE I then wanted a very dip-dye glitter effect. so I simple just used my rimmel london disco ball polish and patted the tips of my nails and gently down the nail. make sure the majority of the glitter is at the tip to create the ‘dip dye’ effect!
STEP FIVE (sorry I labeled them wrong no step 4) But then i used my nail art pen and created these lines up from the corner of the matrix which created the base of the spider web.
STEP SIX You Just simply add on the rest of the spider web. Then it’s complete I admit mine aren’t perfect and it takes alot of practice! so give it ago! and send me your pictures via twitter! @itsschloeeee
Love these nails! They're such a good idea for Halloween. The purple colour is gorgeous too, definitely need to invest!Terri xo – littlegoldstars.blogspot.com
